Golf Fit has worked with Stephen McAllister for around 3 years as he prepares to make use of his Seniors Tour exemption and play in 2012. Yes, amazingly for those who know him, Stephen is 50 in February! Click here to check out Stephen's Player page.
Golf Fit has also started working with Marc Warren this off-season. Marc regained his European tour card in 2011 and is raring to get his 2012 season underway. Notable Golf Fit Junior Achievements 2011
Anyone who follows golf knows how successful a season Scott Jamieson, Stephen Gallacher and the other professionals we work with have had. Rather than write a blog about this I thought it was about time we reported on some of the achievements the Golf Fit Juniors have made.
Our Junior work involves all the juniors in the highly successful Lothian’s Junior Teams. In addition to this we also work with the Stirlingshire Golf Union Juniors, Stirling Futures Juniors, Glenbervie Golf Club Juniors and Merchiston Castle School Golf Academy. PMck just misses out on 3 wins in a row
Paul Mckechnie was 1 shot away from 3 wins in a row on the Optical Express Tour. His rounds of 71 and 68 left him in a tie for 3rd with Graeme Brown at -5. Here is what Paul had to say:
"Shot a four under par 68 today down at The Roxburgh to add to my 71 yesterday, for a five under par total, unfortunately that left me one short of winning the last three events on a row. Played solidly, with few mistakes, however, I made bogey on the easy par 5, 12th hole, which is nagging in the back of my mind. Still a third place finish and my 20th top five of the season, can’t complain too much. Games in good shape and looking forward to a couple of days off then Stirling on Friday".

Scott Jamieson joins Stephen Gallacher in the 2011 Open Field
Greig Marchbank dominates SGU Junior Tour Event at Cardrona
Greig Marchbank (pictured below) produced a superb display over 2 days at Cardrona to win by 4 shots over a strong field. Rounds of 70(-2); 68(-4); 69(-3) and 75(+3) were enough for the Golf fit Junior.
Since August, 2010 Greig has been working hard on his golf fitness, especially his hip mobility. This hard work is combining well with the improvements Greig is making with his swing coach Brian Gemmell. read more ...

Top 10 Finish in Omega Dubai Desert Classic for Stephen Gallacher
Stephen Gallacher finished T-10th in the strongly fielded Omega Dubai Desert Classic this week, after another fine performance in tricky scoring conditions. This continues an excellent start to the season for Stephen. Marc Warren also shot a very respectable 4 under par for the week at the Emirates GC, to finish with a share of 20th. Well done to both Stephen and Marc.

Onwards and Upwards for Stephen Gallacher
High Flying times for Stephen Gallacher and Golf Fit
Stephen Gallacher joined the Golf Fit Ltd Team earlier this year and since then his results on the European PGA Tour have went from strength to strength. In May Stephen finished 4th in the PGA Tour’s Flagship event at Wentworth, securing his Tour card for next season and firmly re-establishing himself as a strong contender in any Tour event. Three top 10 finishes followed and Stephen managed to play some great golf in tricky conditions at this year’s Open at St.Andrews for a (-3) T23 finish. That was the highest finish of any Scottish player in the Open since 2005 and took Stephen into the top 100 in the overall golf world rankings.
